International Service Engineer

What are you going to do now?

Duynie is looking for an International Service Engineer to maintain, repair, and optimize our industrial machines and installations. You will work both on-site at customer locations across Europe and in our own Duynie factories. With your technical expertise and service-oriented mindset, you ensure continuity and efficiency in production processes. Please note: this role involves frequent international travel.

Your mission: you guarantee the reliability and optimal performance of our equipment and act as the key point of contact for international service and maintenance.

What will you do?

As an International Service Engineer you are responsible for diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electronic malfunctions. You analyze test results and error messages, carry out maintenance and repair work, and install new machines and components. You collaborate closely with operators, suppliers, and external partners, ensuring clear documentation and reporting.

You actively participate in TPM programs (Total Productive Maintenance), promote safety, and contribute to continuous improvement. Together with your colleague, you manage the spare parts warehouse and maintain an up-to-date inventory of components. Finally, you identify improvement opportunities in work processes and systems and propose optimizations to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

What are you taking with you?
  • MBO level 4+ education or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience as International Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Service Technician, or Maintenance Engineer.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP+, ATEX.
  • Strong communications and fluent in English, a 2nd or 3rd language is plus.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Decisive, solution-oriented, and proactive.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities.
  • Flexible, customer-focused, and accurate.

Procedure
  1. Getting to know you
