Credit Collection Specialist

What are you going to do now?

As a Credit Collection Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing accounts receivable and ensuring financial stability for Duynie Feed Romania. You will be working closely with the Finance and Sales teams to maintain debtor records, provide insights on outstanding balances and contact our customers with open debts. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and clarify outstanding debtor balances
  • Maintain and streamline debtor records for accuracy
  • Interpret external financial data (e.g., Creditsafe) and integrate findings into internal processes and decisions
  • Collaborate with the Sales team on outstanding payments and financial follow-ups
  • Contact our customers with open debt
  • Support the European Finance Team
  • Identify and initiate improvements for a more effective and efficient workflow

What are you taking with you?

We are looking for an Allround Finance Employee with the following characteristics:

  • University or Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Administration;
  • Proven experience in credit collection;
  • High level of Romanian and English, both spoken and written, knowledge of the Hungarian languague is a big plus;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail;
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Affinity with the agricultural sector is a plus;
  • You can handle computer programs well and pick up systems quickly;
  • You have a no-nonsense mentality, accurate and have good communication skills;
  • You are also eager to learn, you like to get things done and you are result-oriented.
