Inulin and oligofructose are extracted from chicory. We work together with arable farmers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany to grow chicory roots in a sustainable way and to produce vegetable inulin and oligofructose from them.

Inulin and oligofructose have several major advantages. These include lowering sugar and fat levels, enriching fibre and the so-called prebiotic effect: good for the intestinal flora.
These dietary fibres are already being processed in all kinds of ways in foods ranging from bread, breakfast cereals and granola bars to baby food, chocolate and animal feed. We are inspired by inulin and bring it to the whole world.
It all starts with close cooperation with our growers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. We are always ready to support and guide them. Our production sites are located in Roosendaal and Zwolle.
Our head office is also located in Roosendaal. We also have offices in New Jersey and Kuala Lumpur. From these locations, inulin finds its way to more than 50 countries under the names Frutafit® inulin and Frutalose® oligofructose.
