How do we create value with a sugar beet? We develop, produce and sell sugar and sugar specialities. And that's not all. We utilise all components of the sugar beet for food, energy and biobased products. So, there is no waste. With all our 9,000 growers and 850 employees, we are working more and more sustainably.

In 1899, 173 farmers founded the first Dutch cooperative sugar beet factory. Over the years, several cooperative sugar manufacturers have joined forces. Together, we have grown into a global player. From 2020, we will continue under an internationally recognised name: Cosun Beet Company. With a rich history behind us, we are now working every day for a green future.
